A High Court sitting in Enugu State has granted an injunction preventing Ugochukwu Agballah from presenting himself as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in that State.
The order, which was made available to newsmen this Friday, was signed by the Deputy Chief Registrar 1, J. I. Agu, following a suit filed to that effect.
The suit was filed before Justice C.V.C. Ezeugwu, by the Acting State Chairman of the APC in Enugu State, Nwafor Onyeachonam, the State Publicity Secretary Michael Ezeanyawu, and three other applicants who instituted the case on behalf of the APC State Executive Committee members in Enugu State.
The order also bars the Deputy Chairman of the APC in Enugu, Augustine Alumonah, and eight others from parading themselves as officials of the party, pending the determination of the case on the 13th of August, 2024.
