Michael Olise scored one goal and also provided an assist helping France beat Egypt in extra-time to reach the men’s final of the Paris Olympics on Monday.
Jean-Philippe Mateta also scored two goals as France reached its first Olympic men’s football final since Los Angeles 1984.
France will take on Spain in the final, while Egypt will battle Morocco in the bronze medal match.
The last time an African team won a bronze medal in the Olympic men’s football event was Nigeria’s U-23 team at the Rio 2016 games
