Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists, on Monday attacked Bene-shiekh town, the headquarters of Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State, killing the Chief Imam, Sheihk Baba Malum-ti.

The Caretaker Chairman of Kaga council area, Mustapha Baima, who confirmed the incident, expressed shock over the renewed attacks by terrorists.

Recall that Last month, the younger brother of the Imam was also killed by insurgents and two hunters abducted by another set of terrorists who invaded Makinta Kururi.
