Super Falcons Lose WAFCON Quarter-Final, Miss 2027 World Cup Ticket

The Super Falcons have been eliminated from the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after losing to Cameroon, 1-0 in the quarter-final clash that happened on Sunday.
Myriam Nyadjou scored from a free kick to give Cameroon the victory over Nigeria.
Cameroon has now qualified for the semi-finals and had also secured a ticket to the 2027 World Cup in Brazil.
Nigeria on the other hand has lost out on an automatic ticket to the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
