Security forces in Sri Lanka have raided the main anti-government protest camp in the capital, arresting protesters and dismantling tents.
Hundreds of troops and police commandos reportedly moved on the protesters this Friday, outside the presidential offices in Colombo, hours before they were due to leave the area.
Reports say, nine people, have been arrested by police.
This follows the swearing of Ranil Wickremesinghe as president, after ex-president Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled the country last week.
