Soludo Asks Residents To Take Full Ownership Of Newly Installed Water Facilities

The wife of the Anambra State governor, Nonye Soludo, has asked residents of the state to Take Full Ownership Of Newly Installed Water Facilities across the state.

 

Soludo who spoke to newsmen in Awka says it is important for users of the pipe borne water to see them as their own, and take ownership of the cleanliness of these facilities, while protecting them from damage and vandalism.

 

The governor’s wife has also urged market leaders, leaders of different transport unions, and government agencies to monitor the water facilities to ensure their working conditions, warning that anyone who may be nursing any intention to commercialize the project should desist.

 

Recall that the Anambra state government recently rehabilitated some water facilities across the state and built some new facilities across in towns such as Nnobi, Nawfia, Enugu-Ukwu, and Amaenyi.
