Six persons have been arrested in connection to the harassment of a member of the National Assembly who was on a courtesy visit to the governor of Kogi State.

The Kogi state governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Mohammed, said thi this Wednesday.

Reports have had it that the lawmakers from Kogi State in the Senate and House of Representatives, had visited Governor Yahaya Bello at the lord lugard house in lokoja last Tuesday to congratulate him on the outcome of the November 11 governorship election and to pledge their loyalty to him and the incoming administration when one of them was assaulted.

The governor has now put a ban on unauthorised persons from accessing the Government House while calling for the immediate prosecution of the culprits.
