Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Abuja for Dallas, United States of America to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 2024 US-Africa Business Summit hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications at the Office of the Vice President Stanley Nkwocha, said this on Sunday saying Shettima will join other political and business leaders across Africa, the United States of America and beyond at the venue which is the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Centre in Dallas, Texas.
Nkwocha says other African presidents expected at the summit include Joseph Boakai (Liberia), Lazarus Chakwera (Malawi), Joao Lourenço (Angola), Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi (Botswana) and José Maria Neves (Cape Verde). Nthomeng Majara, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, is also expected at the summit.
