Russia has unleashed a massive missile attack on Ukraine, killing 12 civilians, wounding dozens more and hitting residential buildings in Kyiv.

Ukraine’s army chief,  Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, said this this Friday, lamenting that this is the most massive attack of the war so far.

He said Russia targeted Ukraine with 158 drones and missiles overnight.

Officials say ten people in Kyiv are trapped under rubble at a warehouse damaged by the attack

Reports also say a maternity ward was damaged in the city of Dnipro, but no casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, Russia has not made any comment on the attack
