Rivers united head coach, Stanley Eguma has been sacked by Nigeria Premier Football League side, Rivers United.

Eguma was sacked by the club immediately after Rivers United’s 2-1 defeat to Remo Stars last Sunday.

Reports say he was mandated by the club to win the game against Sky Blue Stars.

However, His assistant Evan Ogenyi took charge of the team in the 0-0 draw against Kwara United on Thursday.
