The Head of Protocol and Public Relations of the PSC, Torty Kalu announced these on Wednesday saying the commission also approved the reduction in rank of 16 officers, while 21 others received severe reprimands and two were issued ordinary reprimands.

 

However, three officers were exonerated, while some previously suspended officers were reinstated into the Nigeria Police Force.

 

Kalu says the decisions are in line with the commissions’ zero tolerance for corruption, human rights abuses, interference in land and civil matters, and other forms of misconduct among police officers.
