President Bola Tinubu has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the accidental bombing of locals in the Tudun Biri community of Kaduna State by the Nigerian Army.

 

The president described the bombing as unfortunate, disturbing, and painful, as he sympathized with the families of the victims, the people and the government of Kaduna State.

 

The President has ordered a thorough and full-fledged investigation into the incident while also calling for peace as the authorities look into the incident.

 

He also directed that immediate medical attention be given to the surviving victims as he prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.

 

Recall that on Sunday, the Nigerian Army accidentally carried out a military airstrike in a village where residents were celebrating a Muslim festival, killing about 85 persons.
