The Presidency has announced the decision of Danish shipping and logistics firm A.P Moller-Maersk, to invest $600m for the expansion of the port infrastructure in Nigeria, and to accommodate more container shipping services.
The presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale said this on Sunday, saying that the Chairman of the logistics firm, Robert Uggla, announced the decision during a meeting with President Tinubu on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth and Energy for Development, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
President Tinubu appreciated the firm for its contributions to the Nigerian economy assuring that it will yield rewards beyond what is obtainable elsewhere, saying a bet on Nigeria is a winning bet.
