Imo state police command says Operatives of Obowo Divisional Headquarters, have arrested the owner of a guest house at Umulogho, Obowo, 38 year old, Ibe Obasi, who was allegedly involved in the murder of a 25-year-old man, Ebuka Udemba.

The Imo state police public relations officer, Henry Okoye, said this on Sunday, saying that preliminary investigations revealed that the victim who was accused of stealing a customer’s handset, was tortured and locked up inside the generator room of the guest house by the suspect and two others at large, where he suffocated to death.

Okoye says the suspect has now been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Owerri and has provided useful information that will assist the operatives in arresting all the suspects in connection to the case.
