The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described the death of Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhurudjakpo, as an inexplicable loss.
Ewhurudjakpo, slumped at the Bayelsa State Government House on Thursday and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa and later to the Intensive Care Unit, where he passed on, aged 60.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, the PDP said it received with deep shock the news of the passing of the Deputy Governor and a trusted, faithful party man, who reportedly collapsed and died on Thursday.
The party further said that they express our heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Bayelsa State on this painful loss.
