Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, have warned party members against illegality as they get set to hold their National Executive Committee meeting this Thursday.

The governors said this during a meeting they had at Akwa Ibom State Asokoro’s Governor’s lodge in Abuja ahead of today’s NEC meeting.

Also the Presidential Candidate of the PDP in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike, on Wednesday attended the party’s national caucus meeting in Abuja ahead of the party’s NEC meeting, scheduled to take place this Thursday.

Reports say, today’s NEC meeting is set to address whether the acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, should retain his position or be replaced.
