The executive committee members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, ward C in Bende local government area of Abia State have resigned from the party.

All the ward members announced their resignation in a letter addressed to the chairman of the PDP in Bende Local Government Area as well as to the Abia chairman and the Acting National chairman of the party.

The PDP ward executive members led by the chairman, Francis Okoye, cited the activities and disorderliness in the national leadership of the party as the reason behind their action.

They also said their action is in support of their leader and former presidential aspirant in the PDP, Cosmos Ndukwe, who recently resigned his membership of the party.
