The People’s Democratic Party candidate in the Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency bye-election, Olalekan Bada has asked civil society organisations and election observers in the country to come to Akoko to monitor the election in the interest of transparency.

Bada says monitoring the by-election in Akoko will confirm to the CSOs if the nation’s democracy is actually developing or not.

Furthermore He says it will also afford the civil society organisations the opportunity to monitor how political office holders abuse their positions and institutions.
