 The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar says the committee set up to select his running mate didn’t vote in favor of Wike, as claimed by Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.

Speaking to newsmen in an interview this Friday morning, Atiku said the committee in question only submitted the names of three candidates from which he chose delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as it is the prerogative of the presidential candidate to choose a running mate.

Atiku also said the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi is not a threat to his bid as Obi is only visible on social media without any political structure across the country, while 90 percent of the northerners are not on social media.

Speaking on the PDP leadership crisis and the demands that the National Chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu resigns from his position, Atiku said the party chairman will automatically step down when he emerges as the next Nigerian President.
