The nine, State Working Committee members of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State and the National Working Committee of the party have disagreed over the suspension of the state chairman, Fatai Adams.
While the NWC describes the suspension as null and void, the SWC insists that the suspension is valid.
The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, says the suspension is null and void and of no effect, because no State Working Committee has the power to contemplate or suspend a State Chairman without due recourse to the National Working Committee as provided by the constitution of the PDP.
The NWC insists that Fatai Adams remains the Chairman of the Ondo State Chapter of the PDP and has charged all leaders, critical stakeholders, members, and supporters of the party in the State and the nation to disregard the purported suspension.
