The National Orientation Agency, NOA, has commended the Nigerian Police for swiftly disowning, arresting, and dismissing two special constabularies who attempted to extort a Dutch power bike cyclist.

The Deputy Director of Press at NOA, Paul Odenyi, said this this Friday, describing the police officers as unpatriotic and a very bad representation of the Nigerian culture.

Also, the Director General of NOA, Lanre Issa-Onilu, also criticized the act saying the real Nigerian spirit abhors stealing in whatever guise.

Issa-Onilu also praised the Dutch tourist for taking the bold step of reporting to the authorities.

Recall that two special constabularies identified as Jimoh Lukmon and Kareem Fatai were captured in a viral video recently soliciting money from a Dutch tourist however, they have been dismissed by the Oyo State Police.
