New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), on Tuesday  urged the Supreme Court to declare its candidate, Yahaya Bello, winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship election in Taraba State. 

Acting National Chairman, Abba Ali, alleged result manipulation, over-voting and violence during the exercise. 

The party further claimed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) disregarded their request for a review of the election results. 

The five-man panel, led by Justice Kekere-Ekun, reserved judgment after parties in the petition adopted their processes.

Meanwhile Kekere-Ekun announced that judgment has been reserved and a date for its delivery will be communicated to all parties.
