The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has directed civil servants to resume work this Thursday after the completion of the two-day warning strike, yesterday.

The NLC president, Joe Ajaero, announced this on Wednesday, commending affiliate unions and state chapters for their active participation in the warning strike.

He said the same passion that triggered the warning strike would be necessary for an indefinite strike if the government fails to respond to their demands.

Recall that last Friday, NLC asked its members to embark on a two-day warning strike over the impact of petrol subsidy removal on the masses.
