Despite the ongoing Middle East war that has worsened economic pressures in Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has assured that the country will overcome current challenges, including electricity supply, transportation cost hikes, and expected inflation.
He gave the assurance on Sunday after special birthday prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja.
President Tinubu celebrated his 74th birthday yesterday and according to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, he held special prayers at the mosque where he was joined by governors, ministers, politicians, and worshippers from across the country.
The President admitted that the nation was going through a very difficult period but said it was as a result of the War in the Middle East; However, he expressed confidence in Nigeria’s resilience in overcoming the challenges.
