Court extends order stopping FCT Minister, FCDA, from demolishing Kpokpogri’s house

A federal capital territory high court has extended a restraining order issued against the FCT minister, the federal capital territory administration, and the federal capital development authority, stopping them from demolishing a house on plots 203 and 204, 27 road, Guzape district, Abuja, belonging to Prince Joseph Kpokpogri.

The order was pronounced by Justice Charles Agbaza this Friday, which is an update to an earlier restraining order from July 7, following an ex-parte application moved on behalf of Kpokpogri by his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome.

The presiding judge issued an order of interim injunction restraining the defendants as well as their agents, officials, privies, from trespassing on, demolishing, or from evicting the occupants of the property.

The court also adjourned the hearing of the matter to September 12.
