The Federal Capital Territory command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), says the war against illicit drugs and trafficking in Nigeria is yielding positive results.
The Commander of Narcotics, in the FCT, Kabir Tsakuwa told newsmen this Friday in Abuja that the Federal Government has been doing a lot to ensure the country is free of illicit drug abuse and trafficking.
Tsakuwa says about 2,500 cadets are currently undergoing training at the Regional Academy for drug control to boost manpower, while another 2,500 cadets have just concluded training as Narcotic Agents and Assistants at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) College in Katsina.
