The President-General of Mgbakwu Development Union in Awka North Local Government Area, Nwokeoma Chukwu has distributed one hundred and seventy bags of rice donated to the community by Sir Emeka Offor, to indigent widows in the town.

The twenty-five-kilogram bags of rice were given to Mgbakwu community alongside other towns in Anambra state on tenth February, 2024 to mark his 65^th birthday anniversary.

The widows who benefited in Mgbakwu were selected from the seven villages that make up the community.

Nwokeoma has also appreciated Sir Emeka offor for remembering the poor on his birthday and helping to ease the hardship facing the widows.
