The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev Father Ejike Mbaka has refuted reports which claim that he has endorsed a successor of the Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

There had been claims online that Mbaka endorsed a governorship aspirant under the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Evarest Nnaji, as the next governor of the State, however, Mbaka’s media aide, Ikechukwu Maximus, said the report is fake.

Maximus noted that Mbaka never at any point mentioned the name of his preferred governorship candidate in the state.

Rather, Maximus clarified that Mbaka during his last Sunday mass, prayed to God to guide the Governor of the State and give him the wisdom to choose a successor that will build industries, create employment for the youths and care for the Enugu State indigenes and those residing in the State.
