The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service says no casualty was recorded in the tanker explosion in the Ijora area of that State
The General Manager of the service, Margaret Adesheye, told newsmen in Lagos this Friday that the fire had been controlled.
It would be recalled that the tanker explosion happened on the bridge connecting Ijora, Orile and Costain area of Lagos on Thursday night.
The Southwest Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Falinloye, said, the fire from the tanker burnt 13 vehicles which include two buses, two cars, a trailer, one Sport utility vehicle , three flat body trailers, while 12 high tension electric poles were destroyed in the incident.
