A Power Transformer at the Idumagbo Injection Substation of the Eko Electricity Distribution Company has been razed down by fire, leading to power outage to the areas of Lagos State which the substation serves.

The DISCO informed the public of the fire incident via Twitter on Tuesday, saying that although firefighters came to arrest the situation to prevent the spread but the Transformer was badly burnt.

They appealed to the affected customers in Idumagbo and Ajele to bear with them while they work to back feed them from another source.
