‎Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baqaei, made this known this Monday, describing the attack as illegal and unjustified, while insisting it violated the United Nations Charter and would not go unanswered.

 

‎Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, said Kyiv carried out long-range strikes on vessels transporting military cargo in the Caspian Sea, while Iran said the attack caused an explosion on one of its ships, killing one sailor and injuring several others.

 

‎Iran also vowed to hold Ukraine accountable for the attack, warning that it would respond to what it described as an act of dangerous adventurism.
