I’m Willing To Give Up My Office For Peace In Rivers – Fubara

Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, says he is willing to give up his office for peace to endure in the State.

The governor made this known in an interview with African Independent Television, AIT.

Blaze fm recalls that Fubara and the former governor of the State, now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has been enmeshed in a political crisis as a result of political differences.

Blaze fm reports that the power tussle in Rivers over the last two months has attained a dramatic height, creating tension and anxiety before the intervention by President Bola Tinubu.

Amid the crisis, Wike was alleged to have demanded a certain percentage of Rivers revenue, a claim he has denied.
