The House of Representatives has issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the Accountant General of the Federation, Oluwatoyin Madein, to submit a detailed report on the use of the N100bn COVID-19 intervention funds.
The Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts, Bamidele Salam, issued the notice in Abuja while expressing his disappointment at the AGF’s refusal to submit the report on October 27, 2023.
Recall that these funds were approved and released by former President Muhammadu Buhari to ministries, departments and agencies between 2020 and 2022.
