The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has officially adjusted the commencement date for the second round of the 2023/2024 Premiership season.

The second round initially scheduled to kickstart this Wednesday, January 31st, will now kick off on Wednesday, 14th February 2024, reflecting a two-week postponement.

The NWFL blames the postponement on unforeseen circumstances and have now apologized to the different teams for the resulting inconvenience.

The Chief Operating Officer of the NWFL, Modupe Shabi, has expressed her appreciation for the understanding and collaboration of all stakeholders during the adjustment.
