Firefighting Pilots Die as Helicopters Collide Battling Greek Wildfire

A two-man crew of a firefighting helicopter in Greece have died after a mid-air collision with another helicopter.
The Greece fire department’s director of communications Vassilis Vathrakogiannis confirmed the deaths of the Pilots on Sunday.
The Greek fire department says both aircraft were deployed to battle a wildfire near Athens as nearly 500 firefighters have been battling wildfires around the coastal village of Porto Germeno in Greece.
Meanwhile, Greek media say a 44-year-old man was arrested Sunday in Cephalonia on suspicion of deliberately starting the fire.
