We have news that a fire outbreak has engulfed some shops at Owode Market in Offa, Kwara State.

Eye-witnesses say the fire started early this Tuesday, but was eventually quenched by the personnel of Federal Fire Service and Kwara State Fire Service.

Eye-witnesses also say that authorities are still assessing the situation, to know the worth of goods and properties destroyed in the inferno.

A video of the incident captured the moment some of the shop owners were mourning as they watched their properties destroyed by the fire.
