A Federal High Court in Lagos has further adjourned the continuation of trial of popular Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola also known as Naira Marley following his absence from court this Monday.

 

Justice Nicholas Oweibo adjourned the case to Nov. 13 and 30th 2023.

 

Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting Naira Marley on charges bordering on cybercrime.

 

The commission alleges that Fashola and his accomplices conspired to use different Access Bank ATM cards to defraud their victims.

 

Also recall that Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, is also being investigated in connection with the death of Nigerian artiste, Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as “Mohbad”.
