EU Ambassador to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West Africa States, ECOWAS, Samuela Isopi, has said the European Union is willing to assist Nigeria overcome banditry, kidnapping and insurgency by Boko Haram.

Isopi said this while on a courtesy visit to the minister of defence, Mohammed Abubakar, at the Ship House in Abuja also stating the security of the Niger Delta is key, being the country’s major revenue earner.

Abubakar also said dialoguing with bandits is no longer an option open to the federal government in tackling insecurity in the country and other emerging security crisis.
