At least seven people have been killed so far after a powerful hurricane hit Jamaica with heavy winds and rain.
Recall that Hurricane Beryl struck the island’s southern coast earlier this week, damaging buildings and felling trees.
Reports say about 90% of homes in the region have either been destroyed or severely damaged
However, Jamaica’s Information Minister Dana Dixon says the island has provided about 900 shelters to house people who have left their homes.
