The Enugu State government has announced the construction of a new International Motor Spare Parts and Allied Traders Market.

The Managing Director, Enugu State Investment Development Authority, Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo said this during a meeting with the leadership of the Enugu Motor Spare Parts and Allied Trades Association, Coal Camp, Enugu.

Ogbu-Nwobodo said that, the market which is sited at 9th Mile, along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway is in line with the electoral promises of Governor Peter Mbah to traders that his administration will build a world-class market for them.

He also said that the present condition of the traders at Coal Camp is pathetic and prone to environmental hazards, saying that no business can thrive in such an un conducive environment.
