The Enugu State Government is currently building new 260-type 2 primary healthcare centers across the state as part of measures to improve healthcare delivery.
This was disclosed on thursday by the state governor, Peter Mbah, when he received the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Tunji Alausa, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Enugu.
Mbah sez the state government has taken significant steps at improving the healthcare sector, which will ensure increased access to quality healthcare facilities by residents across the state regardless of financial status.
The minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, also sez that the federal government was addressing the challenges of migration by health workers with the right academic environment where more students will be admitted and trained and have better welfare package.
