Enugu govt begins revalidation of property documents

The Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) has commenced a state-wide revalidation exercise for title documents and an update of property records for all allottees and property owners in its estates.

 

The General Manager of ESHDC, Gerald Asogwa, announced the commencement of the exercise, this Monday, September 15, 2025, and will run until December 31, 2025.

 

Asogwa said that the exercise, is aimed at ensuring proper documentation, improving service delivery, and maintaining up-to-date property records in line with global best practices.

 

He says that only property documents that are duly revalidated during this period will be recognized in the future, urging  all allottees and property owners to take advantage of the exercise to regularize their ownership documents.
