England’s Rose Withdraws from 150th British Open

English professional golfer Justin Rose, has withdrawn from the 150th British Open

 

According to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, R&A, Rose, who is world number 50 pulled out due to a back injury, just ahead of his scheduled tee-time in this Thursday’s first round of the game.

 

R&A says he will be replaced by Rikuya Hoshino of Japan.

 

Hoshino takes Rose’s place in a group with Tommy Fleetwood and Italy’s 2018 Open champion, Francesco Molinari.
