 The industrial action embarked upon by the National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, has been suspended and restoration of power supply has commenced. 

This is following the decision reached yesterday evening at a meeting between the Union and the Ministers of Labour and Power. 

The Head of Corporate Communications at Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, Emeka Ezeh, announced this saying that by noon today all EEDC outgoing feeders would have fully been restored.

Recall that following the industrial strike action embarked upon by the electricity workers at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) power stations, operations across the franchise area of the EEDC were disrupted, affecting power supply to customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States.
