The Chairman of Edo State Governorship Primary Election, and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has assured the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that a credible and sellable candidate will emerge in Friday’s election.

uzodinmma gave the assurance on thursday after the inauguration of his committee and Edo State Governorship Primary Election Appeal Committee by APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.

Recall Twelve aspirants were cleared last week by Prof. Taoheed Adedoja’s Screening Committee to contest the party’s direct primary election slated for February 17.

APC’s National Organising Secretary, Malam Suleiman Argungu, said the party will ensure the conduct of the exercise, using the direct primary mode in a fair and just manner, in line with the dictates of the party’s constitution.
