The Ebonyi State Government has pledged to bear the monetary implication for the enrollment of all into the Ebonyi State Health Insurance Scheme with effect from January 2024.

Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, made this known on Tuesday, in Abakaliki the Ebonyi State capital.

Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, reports that Nwifuru also promised to commit the sum of 200, 000, 000 naria for the informal sector participation in the scheme in the coming year.
