Ebonyi State Police Command has rescued two kidnap victims unhurt and has also recovered two AK 47 Rifles from a suspected Fulani militia group in Ebonyi State. 
 
The spokesperson of Police in Ebonyi State, Onome Onovwakpoyeya disclosed this saying the operatives of the Command immediately swung into action after suspected Fulani militia kidnapped a police Inspector Ogbonnaya Nkama and the village chairman of Ngwogwogwo Ishiagu in Ivo LGA of the state, Paul Ngara, on the 27th of August. 
 
Onome says due to actionable intelligence, they were able to locate the hideout of the kidnappers between the boundary of Amata Ishiagu and Lokpanta in Abia state. 
 
Onome said during the gun duel that ensued, one of the kidnappers was neutralized and three others were arrested.
 
Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, reports that the Commissioner Of Police in that State, Augustina Ogbodo, warned criminals to either desist from crime or relocate from the state as the Command is working round the clock to ensure that anyone terrorizing the State is arrested and brought to book.
