August 2, 2022
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Ebonyi State, has called on its Zonal Vice Chairman, Ebonyi South, Godwin Udeakaji, to tender an apology to the Party’s Guber candidate Ifeanyi-Chukwuma Odii for casting aspersions on Odii and the party ahead of the 2023 elections in Ebonyi State.
The Party’s Publicity Secretary, Chika Nwoba stated this saying Udeakaji has every right to air out his grievances concerning the activities of the party but should have done that without resorting to lies and twisting facts.
Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, reports that Udeakaji accused Odii of being behind the internal crisis rocking the party and according to him, Odie flouted the zoning principle of the party
Nwoba debunked Udeakaji’s claims, saying Udeakaji was among those who screened and confirmed the qualification of Odii.
Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, gathered that Nwoba said that they will continue to stand with Odii who he says emerged through a transparent process
