Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has again awarded an additional N10,000 to the salaries of the state workers.

The governor announced this during the 2024 workers day celebration which took place at Pa Oruta Ngele Stadium in Abakaliki, the state capital, assuring that his administration will continue to increase the productivity of the workforce as they sustain and deepen the existing friendly working environment.

Recall that in July 2023, barely one month in office, Governor Nwifuru added N10,000 to the salary of the state workers, promising that he will prioritize the welfare of the state workers.
