The immediate past Chairman of Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission and factional gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi State, Elias Mbam has described his suspension by the chairman of the APC in Ebonyi State Stanley Emegha as a travesty.

Mbam stated this through his Chief Press Secretary, Obinna Udenwe, accusing Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi and the State Chairman of APC, Emegha of orchestrating the plans.

Mbam called on Ebonyi people, APC faithful and his teeming supporters to ignore the latest move to suspend him.

Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, reports that Emegha said Mbam has been suspended from APC in Ebonyi State with a fine of two billion naira for deviating from the party’s decision.
